The Skeptic’s Guide to The Jaguar an Interview with Robert Tindall by Dosenation
After Dosenation’s James Kent called Robert out for daring to write yet another archetypal hero’s journey, the two smoked the peace pipe and did an interview afterward that is worth checking out for the balance of skepticism and respect that James brought to the interview. Interview with Robert Tindall by Marshall Masters
Every once in a while an interviewer gets the gist of an author’s work and skillfully taps into his original inspiration, moving the conversation beyond the original parameters of the book. I confess, when Marshall Masters, from Cut-to-the-Chase Radio first contacted me I hadn’t even heard of the 2012 pole shift/Planet X phenomenon, and I wasn’t sure if I was going to be much help to him. The interview, however, took off and had an outcome that was surprising for both of us.

The House that Sings:
The Therapeutic Use of Icaros at Takiwasi
We take it for granted that music is one of the oldest mysteries explored by human beings. Did you know we’ve even found evidence our ancestor’s used instruments to explore the psycho-acoustics in the depths of their sacred painted caves? Journeying and music have long gone together, and our travels to the Amazon brought us in contact with that tradition as it still lives in the songs of the shamans, who use their icaros to guide their patients into realms of healing and self exploration. We would like to share this article with you on how one Westerner, a French doctor named Jacques Mabit who trained in curanderismo, uses songs to help heal addiction. This article originally appeared in Shaman’s Drum, Number 73, 2006.
